Using the same geometry as the Mach 1.5 case (upper plate at 14.06 degrees and lower plate
angle of 9.994 degrees) with an unshocked gas pressure of 102 Torr and assumed room temp
of 296 K, simulations were done with a Mach 1.92 shock.
This contour plot of the desinty at Time t =0.00042secs clearly shows the asymmetry of the shock structure as the shock travels down the converging wedge
This asymmetry can further be seen by examining the pressure at the shock as measured along either the top or bottom wedge plate as a function of shock location. The shock pressure along the horizontal extending from the apex is also shown.
