SFC Thin-Shell Finite Element solver - Documentation

The thin-shell solver computes the large deformation dynamics of thin surface-like solids. It has a fracture and fragmentation capability, which uses cohesive laws for modeling the fracturing processses. For discretizing the thin shell, internally subdivison elements based on Loop subdivision schemes, are used. Several papers on the theoretical background are available:
